Meet Al

Al Elston. Twenty-five years coaching pitches that won.

I love stories. I come from a family of storytellers — many childhood hours at the dinner table, listening to my father, encouraged to do the same. Only later did I realise their power.

My first formal college presentation was terrifying and exhilarating. That moment sparked a question I have spent the rest of my life answering: what does it take to present really well?

Al Elston, founder of Pitch Hero

have spent my academic and professional life on the art of pitching. For me it is a heady blend of authenticity, passion, and technique — three things rarely taught together.

I am academically diverse. My first MA in HRM taught me to question, analyse, and think strategically. My second MA in Acting let me blend commercial experience with rigorous performance technique. Drama school was intense, uncomfortable, and absolutely life-changing.

The mission today is the same as the lesson from that first college presentation: help pitch teams deliver confident, coherent, client-winning presentations — even if they have never pitched before.
